When Colorado’s unrelenting summer comes at you in full force and the heat starts to get to be too much there is a struggle that puppies everywhere face. A struggle Little Abbi learned firsthand during her walk and that is resisting the urge to take a nap. We figured this would be a good week to really stretch our legs and took a longer walk than usual but made the mistake of taking a break to look at the heard of elk in the valley below. It was here we saw Abbi struggling with every passing moment her ears dipped lower and lower as her heard became too heavy for her to support. Before we knew it she was plopped on her side soring away without a care in the world. Now this caused us to be stuck between a rock and a hard place, we could either wake her up and deal with a restless puppy or worst of all someone would have to carry her back home. After a brief talk Mama convinced Dad to pick the baby up and carry her home. Did she wake up?
