For those that don't know I own my own semi truck and when I go out on the road I very often take or should say took Mani and Jax with me for the company and very often I took them both with me. This tradition started back in the Spring of 2017 when we first got Jax from the Cheyenne Animal Shelter in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Living in Laramie, WY and working in Cheyenne we realized very quickly that we couldn't leave Jax at home and that he had to come to work with either me or his Mama. Now at the time is Mama worked at a place where she could only bring Jax there once in a blue moon which meant that the responsibility of watching him throughout the day fell on me. Bringing both Mani and Jax touched off a sibling rivalry that would last for years to come..

Ever since we got Mani the little man felt that if he wasn't sitting in Dad's lap that he would sit in the co pilots spot and both enjoy the ride as well as provide excellent directions in a way only he could. But you see after a few trips Jax felt that he could be a better navigator than Mani and did all he could to force Mani to find a new job. But Mani being the stubborn little man he was refused and I mean refused to budge. Even going so far as to remind Jax a few times who was the top dog in our family, reminders that Jax wears to this day on his face.

But through all the rivalry the two dweebs realized after a bit that when they behaved in the truck, Dad's lap opened up and everyone got what they wanted. And more importantly (only when Mama didn't ride along) they got treats as well, something that both boys could agree made the trip even more fun!

While Jax still loves going with Dad to work the trips aren't the same now that Mani isn't there to enjoy it with and Julius is not the same partly due to the fact Jules gets car sick and screams like a banshee. Needless to say the loss of the little man is hitting Jax hard but the wonderful memories of sharing rides in Dad's truck is something he'll cherish forever.
