When it comes to being an ornery brother nobody deserves the title more than Julius the cockatoo. Whether it's screeching like a banshee in at all hours, making surprisingly large messes for a dweeb his size, or giving the kiss of death to anyone unfortunate enough to have their fingers too close to his cage. Needless to say Jules is something else. But what you may not know about the Julius is that he can have moments where he is almost normal.. In all seriousness he isn't always a butthead. There's moments when he can actually be a sweetheart and this week was no exception.

Jax has been struggling to cope with the passing of Mani, while he is enjoying the extra attention, he looks around for his brother when he goes outside, when he eats, and when it comes time to find the best spot on Dad's lap, in other words poor Jax is struggling. Now Julius who never wastes a moment to snuggle/irritate Jax sees that and takes it upon himself to make the big baby feel better. Typically when Jules gets too comfortable with the boxer the boxer lets Julius know real quick he's not interested or too upset to snuggle.

But being the stubborn dweeb he is Julius wasn't phased and his efforts ended up paying off. Jax let Julius comfort him and while it was annoying Jax had to admit it was comforting to have his brother nearby helping ease the pain of Mani's loss. Think Julius will keep this up?
