Much like her brothers, Abbi has taken to her new Texas home in stride. Even going so far as to adopt the nickname Abbi Oakley, now the story of how she got this nickname is the focus of our adventure this week. It all started last weekend when her brother Julius got a cowboy hat from Mama and Dad and started walking around like he was "hot stuff" and being a little girl that is easily gets jealous of her brothers, Abbi demanded she get a hat herself. Mama said no and told Abbi that she got several new toys recently and that was enough, but Abbi had a secret weapon, she knew that the one she really had to go talk to was Dad. For she has him in the palm of her paw and all she has to do is bat her big brown eyes and she'll get whatever she wants.

So, needless to say, by that afternoon Abbi got her hat but what she didn't expect was to get a sheriff's badge as well. And that is when all crap broke loose for it was in moments after getting the badge pinned to her collar she started "bossing" everyone around. It all started when Julius started crawling down from his cage to get some snuggles from Dad and Abbi let out a loud bark telling him he was in timeout (Julius was infact in timeout for biting Mama). Then Jax walked into the living room, and he was immediately told by Abbi to go back to his nap and then at the height of her power she even tried to tell Mama what to do but I bet you can guess how that one turned out.

And here we are a few days later and Abbi still hasn't taken her hat off or loosened up her hold on authority, so here she sits looking out the window looking over her new domain and wondering who she can boss around next.
