This weekend was an exciting weekend for the Drool Face Slobber Monster. but also, one full of disappointments. For it was this weekend that the boxer known as Jax got to do one of his favorite things in the world, go for a car ride! And not just any car ride, a car ride in Dad's semi-truck! Best part? It of running errands and no work meaning Dad got to give Jax all the attention in the world!

But like all good things there was an issue that came up. An issue so egregious that it caused Jax to ignore Dad for the whole afternoon. You may be asking, what could cause such a great day to turn so sour? It came down to a stubborn 5-year-old being told "NO".

You see the boxer wanted to finish what he deemed a "perfect day" off strong and go get some ice cream. Can you believe that? I mean after all Jax wanted nothing more than some ice cream it's not like he's asking for the moon or something.

But what he doesn't realize is that he was given the choice, ice cream or a chicken finger from Dad's lunch. He was warned that he could only have one and not both and apparently the smell of chicken was too much to overcome and he chose that.
