When it comes to being loud there are few things in this world Julius loves more well maybe cheetos but that's a story for another time. Anyhow, like i was saying Julius loves to be loud and he is proud of it! As you can imagine living in an apartment with a loud bird doesn't make the most ideal of neighbors. So, what's a good way to quite Sir Squaks-A-Lot and make the house smell better? Give Julius a bath!

Back when he was a young bird, he used to love to take baths, in fact, if I didn't go out of my way to bring him to the shower it wasn't uncommon to hear the click* click* click* of tap shoes across the tile and seeing a little white face peak around shower curtain.

But now though he sees it as a chore that has to be endured. Anyhow, whenever he starts to get loud and irritating, we give him a shower, while he sees it as a hassle to be endured, it for some reason calms him down, so much so that he ends up napping for the rest of the morning. And as an extra bonus like I said earlier the house smells better. Although that could be because Dad finally bathed but that's a mystery for another time.
