As anyone with a pet knows there is nothing more humiliating, more depressing, or brings about more anger than being forced to wear the "cone of shame" and unfortunately for Jax he learned firsthand this week what it's like to wear it. Why was Jax subjected to such a "cruel" and "unusual" punishment? Did he bite someone? Did he get into the cookie jar? Did he take that last pop from the fridge? Believe it or not, Jax actually brought this onto himself when he decided to lick the paw pad lotion Mama just applied off his feet. Now don't you worry the stuff we use isn't toxic in any way and won't do anything to the boxer other than leave a bizarre taste in his mouth. But like a lot of doggos out there Jax gets cracked paw pads especially in these winter months that can be painful to walk on, so imagine Mama's frustration when she puts some "lotion" on his feet to help relieve the pain and within 10 mins we're back to step one because of Jax's silliness.

As a result, out came the "cone of shame" and the saddest face the boxer could bring the bare. Was Mama able to stand strong? Did Jax finally stop eating the lotion? Will he ever have to wear the "cone of shame" again? Check back in next week and find out!
